Cami de Cavalls, day 3: Cala Galdana – Sant Tomas – Ferreries

So, lazy days are over, today is the first day we run under full load. Uaaahhh … We decided to step onto the Camí at Son Saura, a desert beach at the south coast, 10 km away from Ciutadella.

For several reasons we’ve decided to reach Minorca by ferry from Barcelona, where we are landing on 19:45. I embrace the warmth, finally back to summer! Although we are latently prepared, we let the info desk confirm our way from Placa d’Espanya to the ferry terminal – luckily we did, otherwise we would have suffered a nasty surprise.
Order of the month: Trekking. I urgently need to air myself! We have September, not deep of winter as a consequence ;), so I don’t need to go too far away to find some warmth. Spain seems to be a good choice. To be more precise the Balearic island of Minorca. As it offers, I’ve recently learned, the stunning trail Cami de Cavalls (Catalonian for ‘horse trail’).
